Scholastic Canada | 60 Years

60 Years
sharing stories
années d’histoires

Scholastic Canada was founded in 1957 as the first international subsidiary of Scholastic Inc. In 2017 Scholastic Canada celebrates 60 years of sharing stories and introducing young people to the joys of reading. To commemorate this milestone we established the Scholastic Reading Champions program to honour 60 individuals, schools and not-for-profit organizations across Canada who help children discover the pleasure and power of reading, and will donate a Scholastic library* on behalf of each Reading Champion.

Join us as we celebrate 60 years of spreading the joy of reading!
