Glossary of Book Club Terms Account Number Order Form Packing Slip/Invoice Bonus Coupons Consolation Book Club Credit Book Club Bonus Bank Promotion Code Account Number Scholastic Canada assigns a unique Account Number to each of its customers. This number helps us to identify each teacher. You can find your Account Number on the top left-hand corner of your Packing Slip or, phone Customer Service at 1-800-268-3860. Order Form ![]() Fill out the Order Form found in your Book Club kit, and send it to Scholastic Canada. You can order online, or by phone, fax, or mail. Packing Slip/Invoice ![]() A Scholastic Packing Slip is included in every book order. All pertinent information regarding the contents of the box, the status of your account and the Bonus Coupons and other rewards you have earned on the current order are listed on the Packing Slip. Bonus Coupon Bonus Coupons are rewards accumulated in your Book Club Bonus Bank; they can be redeemed for items from any Scholastic monthly Book Club, Special Offer, Book Clubs Reward Catalogue, or Classroom Essentials Catalogue. You can find your Bonus Coupon balance on the bottom of your Packing Slip, at ClubsOnline, or by calling Customer Service. Note: Paper Bonus Coupons are no longer being issued, but they are still valid and will still be accepted as payment. Consolation Occasionally Scholastic Canada is unable to provide customers with an item they have ordered at the time their students' order is being shipped. In this situation, our customers will receive a Consolation book (i.e. a title of similar age or reading level). This situation could arise if the original item is on backorder and will be received at a later date, or if the original product is no longer available. If the latter is the case, a Book Club Credit for the value of the product will be issued to the customer along with the consolation book. In the case of a backorder, customers will receive the consolation item as well as a letter informing them that the item they chose is currently unavailable and that they will receive the missing item once it has arrived in our warehouse. Consolation items are only given for items featured in the student flyer. Book Club Credit ![]() If an item has become unavailable, Scholastic Canada will reimburse customers by sending them a Book Club Credit for the full value of the unavailable item. In most cases, this credit will be accompanied by a Consolation Item. Book Club Bonus Bank ![]() Your Book Club Bonus Bank is where the Bonus Coupons you earn will be deposited and accumulated until you redeem them for Scholastic Book Club product. Your Bonus Bank balance will print on the bottom of your Packing Slip with every order. You can also access your bank online through ClubsOnline, or call Customer Service to find out your Bonus Bank balance. Promotion Code A promotion ("promo") code is a series of numbers and letters that corresponds to a discount or reward. Promotion codes must be quoted/indicated when you place your order, and the order must meet the terms of the promotion, in order for you to qualify and receive the discount or reward.
