Letter From The Editor PhotoFrom the Desk of
Geronimo Stilton

Dear Reader,

I admit it: I’m not a very brave mouse. When really bad things happen, I just go to pieces. And what happened to The Rodent’s Gazette was as bad as it gets.

First, every copy of the paper was taken off the newsstands. Then, our landlady Leona Misermouse threw us out of our offices and Ratlay’s Bank refused to lend us any more money. After that, the bookstores stopped selling my books! It was too much. I just broke down and cried.

But, luckily, there were brave and loyal rodents around me who gave me the courage to stand up and fight back. I want to thank my sister, Thea, my nephew, Benjamin, the whole staff of The Rodent’s Gazette, and especially my old friend Shif T. Paws, for standing by me and showing me what to do.

It was a tough job saving the paper, but everybody chipped in and helped. And I did my part by going on a really scary quiz show called The Mousetrap and…

Well, I don’t have room to tell the whole story here, but you can read it in my new book, Watch Your Whiskers, Stilton! I think you’ll enjoy it, because although it may have its scary moments, it also has a very happy ending.

Yours truly,
Geronimo Stilton
